featured images and image format

Hello,
I have two questions to ask please.
Q1: image format
When i’m using the image post format, the uploaded image doesn’t show on the home page nor the archive page of the category where the image posts fall under! They only appear on the pages if i mark them as sticky and i don’t want to do that to all the posts just to have the image displayed on the page! i tried changing the format to standard and tick the ‘use first image’ under content options but in vain!Q2: featured image
The featured images of my posts are displayed with every post on the home page (where i have all my posts) but in the archive page of the category under which the posts belong, the featured image is not displayed. i only get the title of the post and an excerpt but not the featured image! again, it is only displayed in the archive page or category if it is sticky! i don’t want to have all my posts sticky so is there a way to fix this?I have been trying to figure something out to solve those issues but in vain. i would really appreciate it if you can help me in this regard. i’m using the Hemingway rewritten theme.

What is the URL of the site with the problem? We’ll need that to investigate and see if there are any options with the theme you’re using.

So here is the link to a subcategory where some posts belong. You will notice that the featured images of each post don’t show

This is the link to my home static page where I keep all my posts, the posts that are in image format don’t show the image. I put image formatted posts under “along came a photo” and when I click on it the images are not displayed either, similar to the issue from the above link.
I would appreciate it if you can help me with that regard.

Ah, the way your theme is built, no image content is displayed in the category lists.
They will only appear in the latest post lists and in the posts themselves.

Ah, ok! That explains a lot.
Is there a way around it that doesn’t require me to change themes?
Also, in the home page (where I have all my posts) posts that are in image format don’t display the image at all! Is it a theme related matter or am I doing something wrong?
You can notice here that any post in image format under the category “along came a photo” doesn’t show the image in the home page!
I tried changing the format from image to standard and see if something has changed but it was all the same!

No, this would require a major structural change to the theme, which would require a Business plan or higher to make, so trying different themes would be your best bet.
