Why aren't featured images working on the Structure theme?

  using structure as the theme. right now my featured image is nothing, even though it’s supposed to be my latest post.

  i have read, repeatedly the instructions on how to set the featured image on my site. http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/

  i looked through everything i could on my dashboard to figure out where this elusive control is. no luck. wanna help me find it?

  I checked your Appearance → Theme Options → Featured Category page, and I found you did have the option to display a featured image from the most recent post selected.

  Then I checked your most recent post (title stars with “Dan Rottenburg”), and there is no featured image set. Open that post for editing, and look at the sidebar on the right. You should see a link that says “Set featured image”.

  One more quick note, you’ll want to make sure to look at the image size guidelines for features images on the Structure theme. They are printed in the featured images help page.

  Yes, you need to set a featured post for each new post if you want it to show up as a featured image in Structure with your current settings.
