Featured images in 2014 theme pages

  I’ve been developing this site: http://www.eatinscanada.com for a few weeks now and have been using featured images on the pages without having to use a plugin.

  Today I accepted the update to wordpress and now the option does not exist any longer, either in new pages, or as an edit function in existing pages, although I can still see the images on the pages already created.

  Help!
