Featured Images missing on my home page

    Just before Christmas the featured images vanished from my home page – I’m not sure why this happens as they are there on preview – also if I ask my home page to load more posts – images appear on the additional posts.

    Any ideas please?

    I’ll be sharing the solution here in case someone else runs into this issue:

    There’s a setting in the Customizer to either show or hide featured images on pages, and that setting can be deactivated on some sites. 

    You can enable this by going to the Customizer, clicking on “Content Options,” enabling the “display on pages” checkbox there and then saving changes.
