Featured images not appearing in 'related posts'

Here’s an example: http://fleurdolls.wordpress.com/2014/06/15/sindy-tonner-doll-lalka/
All three related posts have featured images, but the first one is from the body of the post, not the featured image. The next two are right as featured images, but they appear to be in two different sizes, even though they’re the same size (155×110).
In this post, only the middle related topic is loading the featured image, the first and third aren’t: http://fleurdolls.wordpress.com/2014/04/27/jem-holograms-movie-film-dolls/

I do see the problem regarding the featured images not showing up in Related Posts. Can you tell me if the featured images were already set at the posts’ date of publishing, or were these recently added? Regardless, I have reported this to our developers and I’ll be sure to get back to you once I hear back from them. Thanks for your patience!

Hello, thank you for replying. The featured images were added after the posts were published, just a few days ago in fact. If you need any further info I’m happy to help. I just changed my blog’s theme recently and added featured images afterwards.

Hi again! I’ve just heard back from a colleague of mine and I found out that for a featured image to appear in Related Posts, it has to be at least 350×200 in size. If it doesn’t meet that requirement, then the first image that it sees in post body is used. Hope that clears things up! Let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks!

Oh no… I’m going to have to resize all my featured photos again, or remove the enhanced option from my posts :0( would it be possible at all to make the two fields match? It would make things so much easier…. when I switched to this theme I didn’t know enhancements were available for related posts, so I set up all my featured images at the required size, then discovered the enhancement option, and now it’s not working. If the fields were the same size it would make it all much simpler perhaps.

Not sure what you meant by “enhancement option”. Did you mean enhanced feeds?
Unfortunately, yes, the featured images will have to be resized and reuploaded for them to be displayed in Related Posts. There isn’t a way around this I’m afraid.
If it’s too much work, what you can do for now is leave them as is, and keep the required size (350×200) in mind when creating new posts going forward. How does that sound?
