Featured images not showing to scale on main site page.

    How do I make my images show as full images on main site page? They are all cropped at random angles currently

    Hi blonditious,

    The Canard theme documentation recommends a feature image size of 1920px wide by 768px high.

    I noticed your featured images are generally smaller than that, so I think that is likely causing the cropping issue you mentioned. For example, the featured image for Bohol is 1067px by 800px.

    Could you try using the recommend image width to see whether that helps?

    How and where do I do this I tried in media and it won’t let me manually. Is there a video link to help?

    Hi there,

    You’ll have to edit your images to the recommended dimensions using an image editing program like GIMP or Photoshop before you upload them to your site.

    Even then, featured images might still get cropped at different screen sizes, for example, on mobile phones. There is no way to completely prevent cropping of featured images on a site.
