Featured Images not working on NEW Posts

    Hello,
    After installing the text widget (not sure if it related), my featured images no longer work on NEW individual posts. My previous 15 posts all allowed featured images specific to posts but my latest have not. I have looked all over the web to resolve this but am confused about how to fix the issue.

    Hi Elliot,

    I see what you mean with the watch featured image. I tested it out on my test blog, and the image didn’t work for the featured image header as is. But when I cropped it, so that it was a square image instead of portrait-oriented (that is, when I made sure it was wider than it was tall), it then worked just fine.

    I think Twenty Eleven won’t display portrait-style images as featured image headers, because they don’t easily fit the banner space. My guess is that this is intentional, but I will double-check with our Theme team to make sure it’s not a bug.
