Featured Images on Pages not Showing

    Every time I add a featured image to a page, click update or preview, the featured image does not appear. When the header image is not hidden, it appears on every page in the area I assume the featured image should be. Maybe this has something to do with the Mixfolio theme?

    Hi,

    My tests confirm that featured images do not appear on single posts and static pages of sites with the Mixfolio theme activated. They do appear on the blog page, and on some archives pages. For example, they are displayed on date (year, month, day), tag, and category archives pages, but not on author archives pages.

    Just wanted to pop in and confirm what musicdoc1 has explained – Mixfolio isn’t designed to show Featured Images on the posts themselves, but on other pages instead.

    You could add the image directly into the post if you wanted it also shown on the post itself.

    Another option, if you want your Featured Images to act as header images for their respective posts, would be to try out a theme that supports Featured Image Headers.
