Featured images on Twenty Eleven

    Hello,

I’ve created a blog recently and I have a small problem with my featured images. On the mobile version, there is a button to activate or not the featured images on the home page, so if you check the blog on a smartphone the featured images appear with the article. But I haven’t found any similar button for the “normal” web page, so the featured images don’t appear. The solution I found was putting images at the beginning of the article but it doesn’t look so good as with featured images… Plus, on the mobile version, there are thus two images appearing (featured images plus image inserted in the post) and it’s not the aim…

Can someone help me fix this ?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Because you are using the mobile theme, you have different options for your mobile view and desktop view. There is no option with your current theme to display featured images the way you describe on your normal site.

There are themes that use the featured images more prominently, so if you’d like to use them on your site across the board, you might try switching to one of the themes available at the link below.

I just want to add that this will happen in the browser view as well, as Twenty-Eleven uses featured images as a custom header, so if you insert it into the post and set it as featured, it will display in both the header and in the content.
