Featured items not showing up in Blog List on Home Page

  I am using the Ixion theme. In Appearance > Customize > Home Page Settings, I have been using Static Page. With this selected, the three posts I select for Featured Items (at top of page) are also listed in the Blog list below. I like that.

  I recently shifted from Static Page to Your Latest Posts (because this got the post excerpts to appear). However, now the three Featured items no longer appear in the Blog list below.

  Any idea how to get the missing posts to re-appear?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Never mind. I figured it out. There is an option in the Featured Content section to turn this on or off. After I enabled it, everything worked as I wanted.
