Featured Items or Shop The Post

    Hi,

    Is there a way to do a slideshow of sorts for “Featured Items” or “Shop The Post” to put at the end of a post and/or have it be part of the blog post you see on the homepage? I would love to have that as a style blogger, it would increase the value of my page greatly to have a section at the bottom where you could click the image of the item and go to the page to buy it and click the arrows to see all the items featured.

    Hi Madeline,

    Are the featured items you are referring to your products you’re trying to sell?

    The reason I ask is because advertisements, including those from third-party advertising networks like Google AdSense are not allowed on WordPress.com. You can find out more regarding our advertisement policy here:

    Using a self-hosted blog will be the better bet in the case and will provide you with more options. IF you are looking to monetize your WordPress.com blog, then signing up for Wordads would be an option I would look into.

    If you have a business and the featured items are your own products, then that is the only exception. You can sell your own products on your site.
