  Hi,

  I’m using the Twenty Ten theme and would like to promote an event on the Home page using the right hand column.

  I’ve seen another site that does exactly this, using the same theme: http://www.friendsofprestonpark.org/ – the site has PrestFest in the right-hand column and if you click on this, it takes you to the relevant page.

  That is exactly what I want to do – any help would be much appreciated.

  You can do that most easily by using an image widget.
