  I am using the theme Hemingway Rewritten. I have a picture of the ocean as my standard header. I used a featured photo of a brick wall for my 2nd post. When I am in edit mode and preview the 2nd post, I see the brick wall. When I publish it, the image reverts to the ocean image.

  The site I need help with is ancestralcurrents.wordpress.com.

  Hi there,

  You’ll need to click the post title to view it in full in order for the featured image to show up on the header. If you visit your site and click the post title, it will open the post in full, and then you’ll see the featured image showing up on the header.

  When you’re on the homepage/blog page instead of viewing an individual post, the header image set via the customizer will show up instead.
