Featured Photos Not Showing up on Facebook

When I share one of my blog posts to Facebook, my featured image isn’t showing up, just a blank grey space. I tried the Facebook debugger and scraper, but it still isn’t working. Do I need to do something else on my page before sharing it to social media? Thanks!!

Your website does not look like it is hosted on WordPress.com.
We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.
You might check in with your host to see if there’s an error log you could look at for more information. Or, you could look in this forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar:

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software, so our ability to help here is limited.
That said, I ran one of your posts through the Facebook debugger and that fixed it for me:
I would mention I had to run it through twice before it worked.
It looks like you’re using the Yoast SEO plugin to generate the OG tags on your site that tell Facebook what image to use. Perhaps contact their support so they can help you check that you have everything configured correctly in that plugin.
