  How do I remove a post from featured?

  Your theme https://wordpress.com/theme/apostrophe-2 has a “Featured Content” section which is created by selecting one of your tags to display there. If you navigate to the Customizer>Featured Content and remove that tag, that should also remove the featured post on your site.
