Featured post bar messes up the date-oriented order for my posts on front page

  Hey guys,

  Im using iTheme2 for my blog metalfromnl.wordpress.com
  I really wanted to use the featured post bar, but i can’t seem to figure something out.

  On the mainpage, i want the posts to be sorted by post-date. But because i have to make posts sticky for the featured bar, the sticky posts keep popping up BEFORE the latest post. The post that end up on top of the blogroll are totally random as well, there’s no logic to which one will be first each time you load the page.
  If I set those posts back to non-sticky, they end up in the normal date-oriented order, but also dissapear from the featured post bar.

  Any comments as to how i can fix this?

  Hi there – Hmm, typically on iTheme2, the posts that are marked as sticky are removed from the normal post stream. But I note that you have over 40 sticky posts. I’m wondering if using so many sticky posts is messing things up. Could you test limiting your number of sticky posts to 10 and see if that fixes it?
