    Hi there,

    1. remove grey overly form my deatured post here

    The grey overlay can be removed by removing the opacity that’s applied to the featured image:

    .entry-hero:before, .site-content-wrapper .has-post-thumbnail .entry-header:before {
        opacity: 0;
    }

    2. hide title

    The following snippet will hide the title from all of your posts:

    .featured-content .hentry.has-post-thumbnail h2 {
        visibility: hidden;
    }

    3. remove text shadow (seems like there is on the red text)

    I’m not able to find any red text on your site. Can you point me to it?

    Text shadows can generally be removed by first finding the correct CSS selector for the element you’re trying to change. Your browser’s built in tools can be used for this purpose, as explained here:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/how-to-find-your-themes-css/

    Once you have the correct selector, you can then set the value of text-shadow to none:

    .selector {
        text-shadow: none;
    }

    Let me know the specific text you’re referring to if you’d like help finding the correct selector.

    Thanks!

    Hi Siobhyb, thanks for replying :)
    about 1: I wanted to remove the overly from the fetured content – the “slideshow” of posts on the top but the code didnt affected it at all.
    about 2: I wanted to hide the title of the “slideshow” but not the other text – the “short summary” of the post.
    3. the text shadow is on the red text on the post “slideshow” on the top

    thanks for helping Siobhyb :)

    Hi, I used this code and get help from what you wrote!
    thank you alot Siobhyb!!

    /*hide title from featured post*/
    .featured-content .hentry.has-post-thumbnail .entry-title {
        display: none;
    }
    /*remove shadow from featured post*/
    .featured-content .hentry.has-post-thumbnail {
    	text-shadow: none;
    }

    and I added the fetured here:

    /*remove overly posts*/
    .entry-hero::before,
    .site-content-wrapper .has-post-thumbnail .entry-header::before, .featured-content .hentry.has-post-thumbnail:before {
    	display: none;
    }

    It sounds like you were able to resolve this part yourself with the CSS you provided in your last reply?

    about 2: I wanted to hide the title of the “slideshow” but not the other text – the “short summary” of the post.

    The CSS that I provided should only hide the title of your posts and not the short summary:

    .featured-content .hentry.has-post-thumbnail h2 {
        visibility: hidden;
    }

    If it’s hiding anything else on your site, please share a direct link with me and point to the specific text the above CSS is hiding.

    I’ll help from there.

    3. the text shadow is on the red text on the post “slideshow” on the top

    Can you please point me to the specific page? I’m not able to see any red text on this specific page, for example:
