  Hi,

  I would like to use the feature slideshow similarly to the one that I can find in the Purpose theme example, but I have two issues:

  1) the articles I do for that use keep appearing in the Blog section, which I do not want
  2) Neither the title not the text end up on the picture on the 1st page, while in the example they do.

  How could I fix these issues?

  Hi there,

  1) the articles I do for that use keep appearing in the Blog section, which I do not want

  You can display featured content in the Homepage Featured Content Slider without displaying it on the Blog page. To do that, you can go to your site’s Customizer and open the Featured Content section there. You can uncheck the box next to “Display tag content in all listings” to remove the featured content from your Blog page.

  2) Neither the title not the text end up on the picture on the 1st page, while in the example they do.

  I just checked your blog, and I don’t see any featured content (or the featured content slider) there. To set up the slider, you’ll need to add the tag “featured” to the blog posts you want to display in that slider.

  If you set that up and don’t see the post’s title or text in the slider, please let me know and I can take a look at it for you. :)

  Hi Rachel,

  Thank you for your help.
  I did exactly that, added two articles as examples and the text does not appear on it.
  Also, you can see them in the Blog section even though I unchecked both boxes in the Customizer…

  Any thoughts?

  Also, I cannot find anymore the box that I can uncheck in order to make the title disappear (now redundant since I have the logo)… Do you know where it went?

  Hi there,

  I checked your site again but I don’t see the Homepage Featured Content Slider there. Can you please set it up (and leave it there) so I can take a look? Or would you mind if I added a featured tag to your two posts so I can set it up to see what’s going on? It’s hard for me to tell what’s going on if I can’t see the slider itself with the problem you’re seeing.

  The theme author has updated the theme to remove that option. I see you removed the title using custom CSS, which will have the same effect. :)
