Featured posts are previewing in Twenty Fourteen but are not showing in body.

  Hello,
  We’re using Twenty Fourteen. We have posted three featured posts which appear correctly on the top row with their pictures, but the posts are not appearing below in the middle ‘body’ section. I’m sure they usually do (only the next oldest post is appearing in full). What could we have done wrong?
  Also don’t the featured pics usually contain a line of preview body text or am I imagining it.

  Hi Victoria!

  As far as I can tell from my testing, the featured posts never show up in the recent posts list below the showcase.

  Neither the featured grid or the featured slider show an excerpt from the body of the post.

  Hope this helps!
