Featured Posts on Scratchpad?

    Hello,
I am using the Scratchpad theme. I love it, it is perfect for my blog!
    However, I have one complaint.

If you tag a post with #featured, it does nothing. It doesn’t “feature” it, as far as I know it just treats it like an ordinary post.

I might be mistaken. If I am, I’m so sorry and don’t hesitate to let me know.

If I’m not, is there any way you could change this? I feel so bad right now, because I’m asking you to change a theme for a silly reason — I don’t even have that many followers! But it is just a suggestion… really really sorry…

The blog I’m asking about is https://wordsonkey.wordpress.com/

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi –

Thanks for writing to us. I’ve reviewed the setup instructions for https://wordpress.com/theme/scratchpad but I don’t see where it supports a featured post as you’ve described.

There are themes that support this.

Perhaps something to consider would be to create a page and display those featured posts manually. You can do that with the display post shortcode: https://wordpress.com/support/display-posts-shortcode/
