Featured posts won't work in Shoreditch

    Have followed to the letter the directions here:

    “Shoreditch displays Featured Content in a slideshow on the blog page. Add posts to the slideshow by picking a special tag — for example, “featured” — and assigning it to the posts you want to display. Set your special tag in the Customizer‘s Featured Content panel.”

    And – nothing. No slideshow, no displayed featured posts.

    Part of my confusion is that the directions say the posts will display in “a slideshow on the blog page.” What does this mean? I have to set up a special page and call it “blog”? What page is automatically considered “the blog page”?

    I have my home page set to ‘latest posts’. I’m fairly new at this and am sure I don’t understand all the finer points. Thanks for any help.

    @timethief – Can you make sure you’ve chosen one of your tags to be featured, not a category? (I did that too when I first set it up :)
