Featured Slider and Sidebar in nuntius theme

Hi @livingfaitham,
I understand what you’re saying. I can’t make any promises, but we’ll take the possibility of adding an auto-rotate feature for the slider into consideration. If we do add this feature, we’ll let you know.

Okay. I’ve read through this stream twice and I’ve followed the links provided as well, for additional information. The slider is still not appearing on my blog. I created a new page, set the template to the news template, set that page to my landing page in settings. I have four posts that are sticky posts, and all of them have feature images that are over 640 pixels wide, like the link suggested. I still don’t have a slider. Unless it takes a really long time for it to show up, I don’t know what the problem is.I gave it a half hour since I last submitted a sticky post.

Okay. Weird. I reset the landing page to my original page, and suddenly I have a scroller on it. Odd.

Hi smilingskeptic,
I had a look and it appears that the sliders are working on your blog. If you run into any other weirdness, let us know.

@awesomebentv
Please read the threads you post into:The slider doesn’t appear on the main posts page, it appears on the News template page. If you want the slider on your blog front, you need to create a page (in Pages > Add New) and select the News template for it from the pulldown in the Page Attributes module, create another page for your posts, then go to Settings > Reading and set the News template as your front and the other one as your posts page.
