Featured Slider on Delicious Magazine Theme Buggy

  The slider on the Delicious Magazine theme I recently activated is not working properly. The images just flash back and forth very quickly no matter what settings I apply. I have to disable the sliding or fading feature in order to stop it, so it’s not rotating through my featured posts.

  Have you received this complaint from anyone else? What could I be doing wrong?

  Hi there,

  Does this also happen when you look at the featured slider on the Delicious Magazine demo site?

  What if you open the slider in another browser on your computer, or on a different computer?

  I haven’t seen any similar reports, and the slider is working for me on the demo site. It sounds like there might be a local issue in your browser or on your computer — if you can answer those questions above, it will help us narrow down where the problem is. :)

  I have tried it in both Chrome and Safari on my computer, as well as on another computer. On all of these when I’ve activated the slider to slide automatically it flashes quickly between the three featured posts. I have indicated for it to hold for 10 milliseconds and take 3 milliseconds to transition, so based on those settings it should be a slower transition. Instead the large featured area just flashes, like it’s bugged.

  Hi there,

  10 milliseconds and 3 milliseconds are pretty short periods of time. (1,000 milliseconds equals 1 second.) Can you try making those settings a little longer (for example, 1000 milliseconds and 300 milliseconds) to see if it works better for you?
