Featured Sliders stealing posts from main body?
-
In two themes I know of, Fresh and Clean and iTheme2, the featured slider function removes posts from the main body and populates them only in the slider.
It occurs this way: making any post sticky removes it from the main body of posts. I’ve done a few days of experimentation on this.
I’ve determined only Sticky posts are in the slider, Only Unsticky posts are in the Main Body (Sticky posts are supposed to be in the main body too, shouldn’t they be??? Neither theme says that a post will display in either/or.
Can anyone clarify?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Unless the blogger marks a post as a sticky post and also sets a featured image of the exact dimensions required by the respective theme the front page post slider will not appear on the front page of the blog.
Please read the theme descriptions:

No. No matter what the theme, marking a post as a sticky means it’s removed from its regular position and transferred to the top. A post cannot show twice on the same page. -
THANK YOU justpi.
I now feel sane.
Thanks also timethief for your…time:) I read through a lot of documentation, but I really didn’t encounter this specific issue. I’ll look through the tags on other posts to find out more info. in the future. cheers!
