features and domain/content transfer

  In the download version of wordpress, we’re able to download certain plugins developed by other users. I can’t do that in the hosted version here at wordpress.com? I’ve bought my own domain name. I want to be able to install certain SEO plugins, certain social media sharing functions, and other pretty interesting marketing related plugins.

  If the answer to the above is no, I am able to transfer my domain out and transfer the content I’ve created out to my own downloaded wordpress hosted else (if I decide to do that, which is unlikely but just in case)?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  We don’t allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org.
