Features of the 'personal' plan

Hi all,
I’m unsure the ‘personal’ plan fits my needs: I already have a wordpress website made with a free theme which I have slightly edited, plus some plugins. If I choose a ‘personal’ plan can I move my website to wordpress.com smoothly?

Hi,
The only issue I see is the fact that you have installed plugins on your site. Plugins are not permitted here at WordPress.com for various security reasons.
Let me add the tag “modlook” to this thread to alert staff to respond to your question. They can advise you on the best way forward.

There’s not really anything to add to what Thabo has already said. Plugins and custom themes cannot be used on WordPress.com, so all you’ll be able to move over to WordPress.com is your site’s content.
You’ll need to use one of our themes listed at My Site ->Themes. We do allow some CSS customization of existing themes, but that feature is only available in the Premium and Business plans.
And if you can tell me exactly what plugins you are using or what features you need, I can tell you if we already have anything similar on WordPress.com, but you won’t be able to install those plugins here if we don’t support the specific feature.
