  If I upgrade to wordpress premium will the old address or the new one (without .wordpress.com) work? If I use site redirect? Is this included in the price for wordpress premium?

  You want domain mapping – NOT Site Redirect –

  Both the old address and the new address will work, all the old bookmarks will keep working – if you set the new custom domain name to “Primary” then visitors will see the new custom domain name in their browser address bar
