Featuring one category on front page?

  How can I feature one category on my front page? I know how to create menus out of the categories and I have a blog set up on the menu, but I want my front page to feature 2-3 posts from one specific category. I am running Twenty Thirteen and am not a coder.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
