    Do I need to pay extra to use plug-ins in the commercial version plan?

    Can the e-commerce plug-in be used directly?

    Do I need to pay extra to use plug-ins in the commercial version plan?

    It is not possible to install 3rd party plugins and themes on free sites, our hosting is not optimized to permit this. However, you can upload and install any plugin or theme “designed for WordPress” by upgrading to our Business or Commerce plans.

    This will allow you to install any plugin (including eCommerce plugins) while leveraging the performance and security advantages of our WordPress.com managed hosting: https://wordpress.com/hosting/

    For eCommerce specifically, we recommend WooCommerce, and we include support for WooCommerce questions (as well as general WordPress questions) which is a considerable advantage. You can learn more about WooCommerce here: https://wordpress.com/plugins/woocommerce
