Feed broken? (Inuit types?)
-
Since changing to Inuit Types, when I posted a comment on another site, I received this response from Comment Luv:
“A feed could not be found at http://www.alwayswellwithin.com No feed exists here (maybe rss link missing in header or site is down) **”
This has occurred twice now, but was not a problem before I switched to Inuit. I looked in ‘reader’ under settings and the RSS reader option seems to be on. I also searched the forum for this topic but I didn’t see this particular problem.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I just clicked the RSS link at the top of your blog and it’s working for me. This is the URL for the feed to your posts (entries) http://alwayswellwithin.com/feed/
-
I also did another check and here is the result :(
http://ismyblogworking.com/alwayswellwithin.comYour blog doesn’t advertise an XML feed. Are you sure it’s a blog?
RSS – noThe Feed validator says:
Congratulations! [Valid RSS] This is a valid RSS feed.
This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.
* line 28, column 142: Unregistered link relationship: search [help]… m/osd.xml” title=”Always Well Within” />
Please contact Staff about this as there’s some work to be done http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

Thanks TT. I’ll contact staff. This may be connected to my upgrade to my own domain instead of the switch to Inuit Types.

When you report this to Staff please include a link to this thread as I’m getting the same results on my blog too. :(

Thanks for reporting the issue via support contact form.
The RSS feed issue should be fixed now. -

Oh dear … this issue is not resolved:
From the WC3 Feed Validator
http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A//onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/feed/ -
Her issue was that RSS auto-recovery on the theme was missing, and that should be fixed now.
I see “Congratulations!” message when I click the feed validator link.

I see the congratulations message and below is I see this:

Time Thief – I’ve found that I need to use my WordPress url (http://alwayswell.wordpress.com) on sites with Comment Luv, then the feed works without a problem. It does not work if I use my own domain name (http://alwayswellwithin.com)
Maybe this is what the recommendations refer to in part. I don’t know what other ramifications this might have, if any, in addition to commenting on sites that use comment luv.
Thanks for your help on this.

DANG! I have just found that too and it’s darn annoying. Please click in the OP and remove the “resolved” from this thread.
