Feed Burner for email subscription not taking

  I have read all the forums, re-read directions, and still cannot place widget with feedburner for emails on my sidebar. I have copied and pasted several times, and it is not retained in box, nor does it appear on side bar. I copied and pasted smaller link version, and it appears as an error on my sidebar. Please help!
