Feed code errors
-
My blog is here: http://espressivoamayalim.wordpress.com/ and my feed is having ‘code errors’ which are:
Invalid xml declaration.
Line: 2 Character: 3<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>
I want to know how I can fix it.

I experience the same error ( http://denakino.wordpress.com/ ) when click the RSS icon in my Firefox.
I think this is a wordpress.com issue since this seems to happen on any blog at the moment? -
Further investigation lead me to
http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fespressivoamayalim.wordpress.com%2FMy blog gets the same error. Nothing we can do about at the moment since we can’t edit the .php files, I think.

Same problem here…
http://infallsvinkel.wordpress.com
…at http://infallsvinkel.wordpress.com/feed you just get an error message in Internet Explorer.
THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!

There seems to be a major restructuring going on behind the scenes at wordpress.com at the moment: Search has been disabled for two days, bugs mysteriously appear and disappear, and now this…anyway, I’ve tagged this thread so that hopefully some moderator will see it and alert staff to it.

@infallsvinkel, I just checked your feed and it is visible without issues and validates 100%.
@denakino, the same goes for your feed – 100% validation and visible without issues.

Hmm…it appears to be not working in Firefox and Opera only….and it comes back as a valid feed at W3C
-
Funny thing is, it works in Opera (10) for me. But Google Chrome does not. Firefox (3.5.3) also does not work.
W3C indeed says the feed is valid, one hour ago it said there was a blank line before the <?xml tag.
