feed count vs number of posts

  Hello.

  Just wanted to ask, does it matter how many posts a feed update retrieves wrt feed stats? Ex. if you put up two posts, does one reader’s feed update count as 2 feed “hits” or just one? I just wanted to know to gauge if the rise in my feed stat is due to an increase in readers or just because of multiple posts.

  The number of hits to your RSS feed is irrelevant to the number of posts in that RSS feed. To my knowledge, the stats count people hitting your RSS feed through the various ways to view it and not the number of posts read from that RSS feed.
