feed doesn't display properly

  I have my blogs set for the feed to show a summary and not the full text, however, a full text is what shows when looking at my blog. How can I fix this? And just to make sure, I am in my Reading Settings now and the Summary Box is what’s checked. Thanks so much.

  Hi there. Your blog’s home page is not affected by your feed settings.

  A small number of themes create automatic excerpts on the front page. For all other themes you have to do it manually by inserting the Read More tag in each individual post at the point where you want it to cut off on the home page.

  When inserting the more-tag, make sure you insert it on its own line and that you have no other formatting applied to that line, as that can lead to unexpected results. Instructions for using the more-tag can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/
