Feed is not feeding my blog, but en.blog.wordpress.com instead

Hi there,
For some reason my blogs feed address is not feeding my blog anymore to my joomla site. When I type in the feed of any other wordpress blog, it feeds just fine from that blog. It’s just when I have barkwheats.wordpress.com/feed in there, it instead reads from en.blog.wordpress.com.
No clue why this is happening, just started out of the blue. Any insights? Thanks!

Oh, my site that is receiving the feed is barkwheats.com , and the feed is at the bottom of the page.

I didn’t see a feed in your Joomla site to your blog. The feed coming out of wordpress is fine, so you need to see what is set for the feed address in your Joomla install.

No, the blog isn’t private. It’s been totally fine up until the last day. And thesacredpath, the feed is at the bottom of my homepage. I described that in the 2nd post. Hmm, weird.

Again, I’m not seeing a feed. I see an image link to http://barkwheats.wordpress.com/ under “follow us.”

OK, I think I now see what you are saying.
You need to go into Joomla and check the newsfeed you have set up there. All of the entries under “our recent blog posts” are pointing to en.blog.wordpress.com .

It happened to me tonight as well… to the RSS widget containing the feed from my photo blog, but it disappeared after I went into the RSS widget in question — which was still set up the way it should have been — and clicked the save button.

@feartheseeds, the problem in this case is on tingull’s main site which is using Joomla, so the issue here should not have caused the feed URL’s at that end to change although apparently they did somehow.

When I opened my salted blog about two hours ago the RSS feed which normally shows the feed from my photo blog was showing the feed from en.blog.wordpress.com… the title was still the same, but the hover bubble was also changed. So the problem would have been with my photo blogs feed. Whatever the problem was with mine it fixed itself pretty quickly, but it does seem likely it’s connected to the problem tingull is having…

Hmmm, that is interesting. I just checked a few minutes ago and tingull’s feed is still broken so it hasn’t righted itself yet. They might have to reset the URL for the feed within Joomla. Won’t know till they come back though.

No, that feed is still barkwheats.wordpress.com/feed . All of my joomla settings are correct, as that’s the first thing i went to check. It’s feeding the wordpress blog instead of mine.

Also under global configuration > system in the “cache settings” what have you got the cache update time set to?

Look at ALL of the feeds on this that are now pointing to the wordpress blog. There’s tons of them. So, it’s not just me, it’s something to do with wordpress.

I just put your feed in the self-hosted blog linked to my username and it shows up fine with the 5 recent posts. Apparently others have seen this problem too with feeds to blog here where they had at least temporarily ended up pointing to en.blog.wordpress, but it corrected itself.
Did you try adding a test post to your blog to see if it would update the feed in your Joomla site?

Interestingly I put your feed in one of my wordpress.COM test blogs, and it comes up with a “unknown feed” title, but the posts are correct and reflect your 5 recent posts. I can’t get the title to change for some reason.
