Feed not Valid?
-
My blog (http://www.theoutlawmom.com) is set up on a few different “mommy blog” sites to have the feed show up on my profile (e.g., Circle of Moms, SocialMoms, etc.). A week ago my feeds stopped showing up and per the site admins (and when I tried this on my own at FeedBurner), the not valid error showed up. I’m not sure what this means and what I am supposed to do to validate the feed? I don’t have technical knowledge about all of this so would really appreciate some help.
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The issue is in the caption in this post: Lusciously Lemon-y Meyer Bars.
Delete the word “they’re” and retype it. There is an unknown character as the apostrophe that is messing things up.

Awesome! It worked. Think I get it: unknown characters equals no more feed. Thanks so much :-)
Now if I could just figure out how random links have been put onto my blog, I will be set. Do I need to start a new support forum for that question? (I’m talking about having my Dashboard show that visitors have clicked on links supposedly on my blog – that I didn’t put there – which lead to blogs that look like mine, but whose posts are anti- whatever my post subject matter is about and links that automatically pull up my mail program to e-mail me the title of my posts in the body text).

You are welcome.
RSS feeds work off of UTF8 character encoding, and although a well designed browser or feed reader should not kill a feed for a single unknown character, or even a few. It should just ignore those as long as the bulk of the feed is OK. Some though are very strict and one single error or unknown character and the throw a tantrum.
One suggestion is to go to settings > writing and select to have wordpress automatically correct XHTML issues. That should help to keep this from happening in the future.
