Your site is private and that means the ability to share it is limited. Volunteers cannot view private blogs and we do not request access to them. Staff can view private blog content and that is why I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Also subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

You site is private so have you considered that could be why the posts which cannot be read on the site they were published will not be appearing on any other sites? https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

Hi there,
It looks like the Publicize connection was only added after you had published the post, so there is no way that first post of yours will automatically share to Facebook. You’ll need to share it manually. The next post you publish, now that the connection is active, should share automatically.
Please keep in mind what @timethief said, though. Your site is set to private. While this doesn’t prevent Publicize from working, it means it will only post the link to Facebook without any preview, and that link will only work for someone if you’ve invited them as a viewer on your site. Other people will just get a page telling them the site is private and they’re not allowed to see it if they click the link.
