Feed problem
-
We use the feed feature to post short summaries of my blog on our church web page (http://www.gbcgranbury.com/). However, some unique characters are showing up in the feed (both titles and text) that I did not type into my original blog post (e.g., ’ instead of ‘ and  after a period).
Is this a problem on the church site and the way it receives the feed or is there something I can do on my blog (e.g., a setting I’ve overlooked) that will prevent the creation of these extraneous characters?
Thanks for your help!

Howdy!
That’s odd indeed. I can definitely see the special characters you’re referring to. Can you let me know a bit about how you’re creating the posts? Are you copying and pasting content into WordPress.com from another editor (like Microsoft Word) or are you writing directly into WordPress.com?

Sometimes I paste from other web pages; when I am creating original content, I always write it in Word Press. The characters were even showing up in the titles.
I just received an email from our webhosting service and they said there was a character encoding issue with the RSS feed that was causing the characters to show up incorrectly, but it has been fixed. So all is well. Thanks for your help!
