Hi all, I too have been trying to get the Twitter feed on our wordpress, and have spent a few hours reading help pages and trying alternative methods, but nothing seems to work. All I end up with is – Follow us on Twitter -Tweets by @DadsCan
Which is a hyperlink to our Twitter, but does not show Teeets on our blog- if any kind person does figure this out, could they pass on the good news to me please? Best of luck all. DadsCan -
Do you mean you want to make it so that whenever you publish a new post it automatically posts to your Twitter timeline? If so, simply link your Twitter profile to your blog.
At the bottom of each post, there are a selection of icons such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. Click on Twitter and connect your Twitter to your blog. This way every time you post it will immediately send a tweet with a link to your latest articles.
If you are looking to add your Twitter timeline to your actual blog, I did this by adding the widget for this (go onto your dashboard and then widgets – drag the widget you require to the column on the right, it is self-explanatory). Sometimes the Twitter feed only appears on your pages or individual posts, not always your homepage. I’m not sure if I am doing something wrong but it has always depended on what theme I have been using!
