Feedback/ Complaints

Anyone know how to provide feedback and complaints to wordpress.com about their horrendous chat service. I feel I am trapped with wordpress.com as I am not technically savvy enough to do without it. They have fixed a lot of issues over the years with custom css (instead of fixing their actual themes, templates etc) and as such I am at their mercy. Every time I have an issue I get someone gaslighting me that I can just change things myself and I usually spend hours having a back and forth, putting screenshots in the media library to show them that NO it looks like this on my end. What you see is different. And no it isn’t a chache issue and yes it is also an issue when I publish the page etc etc until they finally go “huh, that is weird. Change your theme to this” and so I have to go through that to prove that to them too. It;s like no one will look through the history or let me follow up from where I left off. They seem to just get worse and worse too with no attempt at improving. Is there any way to provide feedback where someone actually listens?

Hi there @thumbell Sorry to hear about your experiences with the Live Chat service.

I’ve flagged your thread for our community forum Staff to point your comments to the right team. Thanks for your patience while they get back to you.

It is clear from reading @thumbell’s post that they were not asking about how to add a feedback form to their website, but where to leave feedback about WordPress.com support.

If you haven’t yet done so, take a look at our volunteer guide at https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-com-volunteers/

  • Hey @thumbell,

Many thanks for reaching out. We’re taking a look at your support history and will revert back via email so that we can further assist.

Hey @olumite007, I think there may be a misunderstanding here. The feedback is for WordPress.com Happiness Engineers, rather than being able to receive feedback/poll results from an audience.
