feedback down?
-
Just tried to send a feedback (nothing urgent, just a bug report and fix for the theme I’m using), but when I pressed send, the button disappeared, my comment is still in the box, no indication it has been sent. FF 2.0.0.3, XP, blah blah, has anyone else had this issue?
-
Yes, I’ve had that issue for a couple of weeks or so now. I use the support email address instead.

I noticed that the speed of the drop down has been changed. It occured a few weeks ago which would be about the same time probably Boles had issue. Might be related. (netscape 7.1-7.2)

The drop down didn’t work for me. Too many blogs. I moved them all to another username with the superior help of Mark. Now I only need to deal with my “main” blog and the drop down doesn’t hide everything any longer.
Hey, I still don’t have a blue admin bar here in the forums! SMILE! Not being able to send feedback via the Admin interface is a similar “not a big deal” thing to me as long as contact via email still works.
-
No, I mean the drop down that’s part of the feedback link.
I don’t have a blue bar here in the forums. I have a empty white space though using Netscape 7.2…

You mean when the Feedback Window expands that’s a “drop down?”
I miss my blue bar. SNIFF!
Why do you prefer Netscape over Firefox? Do you get the “Browse Happy” badge when you use Netscape?

I just discovered that feedback’s not working for me. I was trying to send feedback about the ‘new post’ page’s javascript upsetting khtml, so maybe my two problems are related.
-
Please define “not working” Also what browser, browser version and OS are you using?
edit: Just worked fine for me in Netscape 7.1 (And that’s the buggy one that hates AJAX)
-
update: works fine if I do feedback from a page that doesn’t have any khtml-freezing javascript. so now I’ve sent in my feedback about the maddening freeze thing (makes loading the ‘new post’ page a royal PITA). hopefully they’ll find a way to fix it.

Since the feedback form is javascript, it’s probably not going to work on pages with javascript errors. You can go here to report things like that:
