feedback form responses vs comments

I have noticed that viewing site comments is different then viewing the sites feedback responses. Comments will show up on the site and form responses will only be seen in our emails and in the feedback tab. Is there a way to be able to post these form responses onto our site to be visible to other viewers similar to the process of approving a comment and it populating directly onto the site for other viewers? I am currently using one of the feedback tools (text input field) to get responses from a daily writing prompt I have created, but I want other viewers to see others responses to my writing prompt.

    Hi there!

That’s a great question. When a form response is sent through a contact form on your site, it’ll automatically go to the inbox of the email address associated with your WordPress.com account – unless you specify a different email address in the form settings.

On the other hand, comments are naturally designed to be displayed beneath your posts on your site.

While there’s no built-in way to have form responses show on your site instead, it might be worth considering a plugin like Formidable Forms, which does have that capability. There’s a great guide on how to get that set up right here: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-display-wordpress-form-entries-on-your-site/

This would require an upgrade to the Business plan – which has a ton of great extra features to enhance your site alongside the ability to install plugins. There’s more on the Business plan features right here, just in case: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    Hope that helps!
