  This is more of a comment I felt I need to make – I’ve had a blog on wordpress for many years….in the last six months I’ve had complaints/comments from followers that they no longer get notices of my blog posts AND I find that I no longer get notices of their posts – different platforms – mostly BLOGGER platform blogs. What has changed? It’s frustrating and there’s a general ‘rumbling’ among a lot of bloggers that it’s not just me – there are many having issues like this. We are hoping something changes – blogging should be FUN not frustrating! Thanks for listening…………..

  Hello there,

  Many thanks for reaching out.

  To reassure you, this isn’t something that’s unheard of across platforms and this is really down to how inboxes handle emails these days.

  It’s often the case that these emails end up in a spam inbox. Are you able to rule this out?

  Are you also to share the email addresses/usernames who are not getting emails please?

  I only have one follower whose comments ALWAYS go to my Spam file but nobody else has that issue. My followers (when I mentioned I was going to tell WP about this problem) asked me not to share their email addresses. Sorry about that! I also don’t get notices (even though I’m a subscriber) to several OTHER blogs I follow. One is a fellow WordPress blogger who lives in the UK. I think these glitches (from what I’m told) mostly involve Blogger folks though. Anyway, thanks for responding………since it doesn’t sound like a “platform” issue, maybe it will just work itself out! Hopefully.

  Without knowing emails, or blog addresses, we can’t really advise more on this, I’m afraid.

  I think these glitches (from what I’m told) mostly involve Blogger folks though.

  Just to clarify, Blogger is completely independent of WordPress.com; they are two different platforms, and you wouldn’t get notifications from a Blogger site in your WordPress.com account. If the issue is with email, you can try to add the address from which the notifications come to your whitelist, so they never end up in Spam accidentally.
