Hi there,
You chatted with me about this earlier today. As I explained to you, the emails are being sent to your Gmail address. I have checked our email logs and the emails are going out. They are also not bouncing back from Gmail.
The problem is on Gmail’s end, so you please need to contact them to find out if they are perhaps blocking these emails. Also check your Spam folder in Gmail.

No response from Gmail. Now the Contact Form does not work with MSN or Yahoo mail as well. So I think it is something to do with WordPress system.
This is rather annoying. No one seems to be able to help. -
Our logs show that two emails were sent to your Gmail address from the bitexcourses site contact form 17 hours ago, and both messages were delivered successfully. If the emails were not being sent I’d agree that the problem was on our side, but the email are being sent like they are supposed to. We have no control over if they’re being delivered, though.
I also see you’ve now deleted that site, so there is no way at all for me to check your contact form. I can’t help if the site having problems no longer exist.
-
Also experiencing problem with the new site and primary site, mahathirbrunei. MSN worked for a while but no longer. I tired using Yahoo and encountered the same problems. Seems that everyone are having problems except for WordPress.
I cannot even change my email address in the Personal Settings. When I click on the Save button the old email reappeared.
I checked the “Notify me of followup posts via e-mail” below this dialogue window but not surprisingly, I do not get any notices.
-
I can see the attempted email change in your account’s logs, but it doesn’t look like the confirmation email was sent. Please clear your browser cache and cookies, then try changing the email address again from account settings:
https://wordpress.com/me/account/
As for the emails, our logs show over the past two days we have sent you 11 emails to your Gmail address, including two from the contact form of the now deleted site, and one when I replied to this forum thread earlier today. There were also notification emails for an export and an import, as well as notifications for a new follower and for likes on one of your posts. All those emails were sent, and they did not bounce back from your email provider.
If you can’t find those emails in your inbox, there is nothing we can do about it. We don’t control whether emails are delivered, only whether they are sent. From the moment we send them your email provider is in control.

Well, I did as you asked and typed in ” (email visible only to moderators and staff) ” but an message popped up ” that email is already being used”. When did I use it? Where?
The i reg. a new email at Yahoo, (email visible only to moderators and staff) and tried with that brand new email, the same message popped up.I also tried the reset password and until now no SMS was sent to my phone nor to my email; not surprisingly, as I am not receiving mails from WordPress, from anyone in the world but WordPress!

That MSN address belongs to another username account that was created in 2007. As it’s already connected to an existing account you cannot use that email for this account.
We have sent 8 emails to that email address in the past 48 hours: 3 from the contact form of your now-deleted site, and 5 notifications of new posts from sites that account is following.
The yahoo email address belongs to yet another username account that it appears you created two days ago when you created the site, bruneisoftskills.wordpress.com. At the same time you created a matching username, bruneisoftskills, that is using that email address.
You don’t have two-factor authentication active on any of these three accounts, so there is no reason why we’d send you an SMS. If you add a username or email address on the password reset form that sends an email to the email address for that account.
We’ve sent three password reset emails to your Gmail address in the past 11 hours. The two accounts with the MSN and Yahoo addresses do not show any recent password reset requests in their logs.
As I’ve said before, these emails are being sent. If you are not getting them it’s a problem with your email provider. The emails could be getting marked as spam. They could be getting caught in some automatic filter. Try searching your email for any messages from donotreply @ wordpress.com (without the spaces). Also search for just “wordpress.com”. Make sure to set the search to look in archived messages, spam and even deleted messages.

I have received your “do no reply” email sent to my gmail ( (email visible only to moderators and staff) ), your post Jul 13, 2016, 3:19 PM
Strange that I receive only the odd emails from WordPress but not those that you mentioned.
Re. the MSN email, (email visible only to moderators and staff), which blog was created in 2007? It may have been a blog I have created but have forgotten about it. I wish to delete it.
bruneisoftskills is using the gmail, not Yahoo. I tried using Yahoo but it was rejected.
Which 2 accounts with the MSN and Yahoo addresses are you referring to? I have only two blogs, mahathirbrunei and bruneisoftskills.
I hope to resolve all these issues soon because I plan to buy a domain and then map to to one of these blogs.
On another matter, I created a blog, softskillsbrunei.wordpress.com but deleted it. How is it that I cannot use it again. The domain that I wish to buy is softskillsbrunei.com and I intend to use it here.

“Account” refers to your username. Every username must have a unique email address, so if an email is already in use for one username you cannot use the email address for another username as well.
You can have any number of sites/blogs in one account, and you can also have more than one account that has access to a particular site, but only the account that created the site owns it and can delete it.
You are posting here with the username, mahathirbrunei. This account is using your Gmail address and owns two blogs: mahathirbrunei.wordpress.com and bruneisoftskills.wordpress.com
Your MSN email address is connected with the username account, mattofbrunei. That account owns no blogs, and also isn’t a user on any blog owned by another account. That account has existed since 2007.
Your yahoo address is connected with the username account, bruneisoftskills. That account is an admin on your site, bruneisoftskills.wordpress.com, but does not own any other sites. That account was created two days ago.
It is not possible to delete either of the extra accounts. You can deactivate the account, but to do that you need to be able to log into it first.
On another matter, I created a blog, softskillsbrunei.wordpress.com but deleted it. How is it that I cannot use it again.
Deleted addresses are removed from our system and cannot be registered again, nor can a deletion be undone. This is stated in the warning message that appears on the page where you have to confirm that you want to delete a site, and in our support documentation on deleting sites:
-
your yahoo address is connected with the username account, bruneisoftskills
I check Personal Settings (User) and Settings and do not see any Yahoo mail there nor in the primary blog, mahathirbrunei. whre did you see it?
-
Your MSN email address is connected with the username account, mattofbrune
I have deleted that site, “mattofbrunei”. Why can’t I use my MSN email? Can you help me with this so that I can use the MSN here.
-

You are logged in as mahathirbrunei. Your mahathirbrunei username uses the Gmail address, so that’s the only address you’ll see in your account settings.
To see the Yahoo email address you need to log out of the mahathirbrunei account, and log in as the bruneisoftskills username. It’s a completely different account, as I’ve explained above.
I have deleted that site, “mattofbrunei”. Why can’t I use my MSN email? Can you help me with this so that I can use the MSN here.
Once again, the MSN email address is used for the mattofbrunei username account. Not a blog. A site and an account are not the same thing.

and log in as the bruneisoftskills username
Well I tried loggin in using the Yahoo email but was rejected. Again I asked to reset password but no notification was sent to to my Yahoo email to to the email of the primary blog, mahathirbrunei.
BTW, there is no Admin widget in bruneisoftskills for me to put in the sidebar wher I can log in from there.

Our logs show you successfully reset the password for and logged into that account 8 hours ago, at which time you also changed the Gravatar for that account.
BTW, there is no Admin widget in bruneisoftskills for me to put in the sidebar wher I can log in from there.
We retired the Meta widget some time ago, as very few people were using it. But I see you’ve made your own login link using a links widget.
-
..you successfully reset the password for and logged into that account 8 hours ago,…
Thanks for reminding me about that account which I have forgotten all about it.
I am going to buy a domain, “softskillsbrunei.com”, can I use it with the “bruneisoftskills.wordpress.com”.
Is softskillsbrunei better than bruneisoftskills or should I go for 2-3 syllable word like “softbru” (brusoft is taken)

This is really up to you. For SEO it’s better if your domain closely matches your site title, but at the same time you want something that’s easy to remember and that can fit on your business cards if applicable. Also consider that the domain name will be a major part of your overall branding, so try to go with the brand you want to be recognised by.
Please also make a note which account (username and email) you use to buy the domain, as only that account will be able to renew it or make changes to it going forward. This is especially true if you have more than one account that are users on the same site.
