Feedback on Editing

When I click on Edit on my Dashboard to edit a published page, I want to edit the page.
Not see a Preview. I can do that by going to my site. I had done that. Gone to my site, saw something I wanted to update. Went into the page and WTF, why can’t I type? No pop up or anything detailing the changes. Like I was supposed to be some kind of magic mind reader.
And when I click edit again, I want to edit on the page and not in a pop up window on my page.
I was considering becoming a paid member, but this idiotic workflow is making me consider switching to another blogging platform. That’s how much this frustrates me. That I went from thinking of becoming a paid member to thinking of completely switching who I use to blog.
I’m sure this workflow is fine and helpful for others. But it is detrimental and extremely frustrating for others. Have a way to change the workflow. Would you like to preview pages before editing? Have a box for yes or no.

Hi there, If you’ve been using the Classic Block to create your posts and pages, it may be that the Classic Block has been updated to a pop-up window. However, that shouldn’t interfere with editing the content of your post or page.
Which site are you working on?

Was classic block.
The AI support told me the “Preview before editing” was a new feature and not a bug. Hence me here leaving feedback.

Forgot to mention specific site that I discovered it on (but I tried multiple blogs in case it was site specific).
