Feedburner Email feature with box to directly input email address

  Hi there,

  I follow a blogspot blog (http://startuplessonslearned.blogspot.com) that offers the Feedburner Email service. On this site I especially liked the possibility to input directly the email address to get email updates.

  I tried to do the same for my blog businessenglishbuzz.com. I pasted the copied code from the feedburner.com site in a text widget. But then saving it, somehow it is getting cut, or reduced. And no nice input box for the email address appears.

  Is this feature only possible on blogger blogs? Or has somebody come across or even owns a wordpress blog with this direct entry email box?

  That particular Feedburner widget uses forms, and forms are not allowed on wordpress.com. You can still use Feedburner Email Subscription, but you must select the ‘Subscription Link Code’ (a text link that takes you to the Feedburner Email Subscription page), not the ‘Subscription Form Code’ that you tried to use.
