Feedburner Integration

Since you guys disabled the feeds stats on our dashboards, how about giving us the option to point our feeds at Feedburner instead? We can use Feedburner as is, but it would be better if we could change the autodiscovery to Feedburner and if wordpress.com would redirect existing feed subscribers there. I wouldn’t even mind if you made a paid upgrade out of it.

You are speaking to volunteers who make no policy decisions and have no prior warning about policy changes. Volunteers do not have backend access to blogs. Hence, we did not disable anything.If you wish to pitch some “idea” to staff about giving feedburner a monopoly over our rss feeds then, please send in a feedback on Monday clearly stating your idea and reasons for supporting it as well.

As per the other feed stats threads (I hope you did search first), please send in a feedback to staff on Monday morning. We can’t help you here in the forums on this subject and we’re asking you not to discuss this here as the support forums are volenteer managed and we have folks directing their abuse towards us.

I am sad that you are taking the brunt of people’s frustrations, kind volunteers. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to helping people like me make this transition. I am still trying to find my way. I have been discussing this in Transitioning Word Press.com feeds to Feed Reader feeds. I am not spamming but if anyone can help me, please…
