Feedburner no longer allowed on WP from today?
-
Those were the happy days. Now Feedburner feeds have Google AdSense. And that is not allowed on WordPress.com.
No. Ads. Period.
This is effective as of today. :-(

Will WordPress please give some guidelines on this? Are the bloggers to find themselves new feed hosts?

You don’t understand. What Feedburner does is take your pre-existing WP.com feed and “remix” it. It’s not as if they’re interacting directly with WordPress. Everything Feedburner does to your feed happens outside of WordPress.com; you just put a link to it on your blog. So I see no problem. Of course, I’m not staff, but how many staff read your Feedburner feed rather than your WP.com one anyway?

First, what raincoaster said.
As a clarification, AdSense in FeedBurner is opt-in. If you use FeedBurner, you will not suddenly see AdSense appearing unless you have taken specific steps to include it. -
don’t understand, if there is no ability to use feedburner is there any other way to send notifications that a blog has been posted by email?
-
It would be nice if wordpress feeds could be counted without having to click on every box to the right on the blog stats.
Isn’t that the only reason feedburner is used, because one can see how many feeds there are? -

If I understand rain, feedburner is carrying adsense, not wordpress. So what is with the announcement that started this post?
