Feedburner problem

  I have subscribed to my own rss feed for my blog on feedburner. I notice that even after posting twenty to forty minutes ago that my reader still has not received anything from feedburner. Is feedburner this slow normally? Is there a way to speed it up?

  I don’t think they are any faster. I know even Google Reader is about 60 minutes. There are a few threads in the forums about how long it takes programs and sites to actually pickup the feed as they don’t check very often for new updates to keep their server or program loads down. Maybe another feedburner enthusiast has a fix though.

  a lot of folks seem to be using bloglines, if that’s any help. i seem to have a lot of readers coming in from that feed. maybe it’s worth a try? I went ahead and dropped the feed for it on the sidebar since I noticed people using it, easier to pick up if others wanted it.

  i use bloglines and they pick up my posts through rss almost instantaneously.
