FEEDBURNER TROUBLE
-
Hello,
i registered with feedburner and attempted to add subscribe by email facility to my blog.Unfortunately, i cannot seem to make the subscription code to make the FORM appear work.i can only get the subscription link to work.and id prefer if readers could just type in their email ids and subscribe straight from my blog instead of clicking the link.any idea whats wrong? this is the code that i got from feedburner for the subscription form.<form style=”border:1px solid #ccc;padding:3px;text-align:center;” action=”http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/emailverify” method=”post” target=”popupwindow” onsubmit=”window.open(‘http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/emailverifySubmit?feedId=1381181’, ‘popupwindow’, ‘scrollbars=yes,width=550,height=520’);return true”>
Enter your email address:
Delivered by
FeedBurner</p></form>
Also another doubt is the Feedburner dashboard shows that ive got no subscribers and no site visitors. Since i registered ive had atleast 200 new visitors. how come it doesnt show there? it still says 0

WordPress.com will not allow the form within your blog for feedburner. You will have to use the link that takes them to feedburner to subscribe.
Try subscribing to your own blog and see if you show up in the subscriber list. This will also let you know if everything is working correctly (ie you get the confirmation email, etc.).
I have noticed that sometimes there is a lag between signing up and it showing up in the subscriber list. I have also noticed that sometime the number shown on the opening page is different from the one when you view your subscribers.

In addition, your site stats will always show 0 at Feedburner because FB requires a snippet of Javascript to make that happen and it’s not allowed here for security reasons. FB does have access to your FB feed, of course, so you will have a few numbers about subscribers from that.
